Hi.

Welcome to She’s Full of Lit!

Here, we chat about our favorite (and sometimes least favorite) books, share recommendations on everything from what wine pairs best with that work of fiction to facemasks that make your non-fiction read even better, and live our best basic bookworm lives.

My boss told me about Wtso.com which has amazing wine on the super cheap. It delivers crazy fast. An adult has to sign for it, but where are you going these days anyhow?

We used the HIAS Haggadah for Seder on Friday, and I highly recommend. It’s very social justice focused, which is very important in these times. I was depressed that there was no Chad Gadya, but otherwise!

I love these healthcare workers putting photos of their smiling faces on their PPE. What a truly beautiful gesture from people already stressed and pushed to their limits.

Self-care is a huge buzzphrase but it is so important in these times. Here are some free ideas. Mine include screaming into a pillow and pretending I’m a mermaid when I take a bath.

Elizabeth

Life is hard for everyone but Jose makes it better for all of us.

Easter is usually a day I spent with the fam, but I do love technology for the stand-in. Quiplash is the best.

Speaking of Easter, my church has done a wonderful job of making people feel involved. If you’re looking for something high church, go for Bishop Curry at the National Cathedral. ]

Alleluia, allelu! Regardless of your faith tradition, sending everyone good vibes and high prayers!
